We are looking for a business sales professional managing all aspects of current sales and new account acquisitions for our product group for the rubber reinforcement industry in Europe.

As an Account Manager you are responsible for maintaining relationships with your accounts at all levels, and managing joint projects with your customers from development stages up to commercialization. You activily monitor competitive activity within accounts and are driven by identifying market needs and exploring new opportunities. This role offers the flexibility of remote work in Europe, preferably in South Europe, and you report to the Market Director who is based in Ghent, Belgium.

What are your main responsibilities as Account Manager:

  • Actively solicit business with existing and new customers.
  • Develop, plan, and execute sales and marketing strategies to defend and extend share at assigned accounts.
  • Establish, develop, strengthen and maintain relationships at all levels of assigned accounts.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline of qualified leads to drive future growth in line with the business strategy
  • Effective team player proficient to work with manufacturing, supply chain, development and other support functions to develop value-added products and services in a timely manner.


Which skills and knowledge are we looking for

  • 5 years or more of technical sales experience.
  • preferable experience in textile, chemical or automotive industry.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be inquisitive, an abstract thinker capable of connecting customer needs with our capabilities.
  • Professional knowledge of the English and Italian languague
  • Must be comfortable interacting with a wide variety of customers, and at all levels within customer organizations.
